Apartment L'Ourse 4 details
We're so pleased to be welcoming one of our most popular properties, apartment L'Ourse 4, an owner managed property, back onto our books. Since buying 3 years ago, the owner has entirely refurbished the property, making this spacious apartment bright, modern, welcoming and packed full of helpful extra features.
The large living area is home to the kitchen, dining area and the lounge, a comfy leather seated area surrounding a flame effect fire. The very well equipped kitchen, with 4 ring ceramic hob and full sized oven, is next to the dining area, with its large table comfortably seating 10, so meals are a breeze. After dinner, the owner tells me that the youngsters love to head into the main bedroom, with its huge curved smart television to watch films, leaving the adults to cosy up on the sofas, catch up on the days adventures, listen to music on the bluetooth hifi or catch a little television themselves. Or, in the warmer weather why not open up the large patio doors and take in the view of the Aravis mountains with a drink on the balcony.
The ground floor is also home to a large double bunk room with its own balcony (with table and 4 chairs) and its ensuite shower room (with WC, shower and large drying cabinet - perfect for damp ski jackets and salopettes). Opposite the main double bedroom (with the aforementioned huge television) you'll find the large family bathroom, and a separate WC. Finally there's the utility cupboard, with boot dryers/warmers for 6 pairs of boots and a top loading washing machine.
The spiral staircase leads up to the double bedroom on the mezzanine. Although open, and with low sloped ceiling, this area still feels spacious, has plenty of storage, and a desk and chair in case anyone needs to catch up on work. A door off to the left at the top of the stairs takes you through to the last of the bedrooms (again with limited head height), a lovely twin bedroom with storage and total privacy. Perfect for children!
In the garage you'll find 6 bike racks, 2 bike stands, a floor standing tyre pump and a bike tool kit. There's also a ski rack for 10 skis / snowboards so the apartment is extremely well kitted out for groups of cyclists and skiers.
As well as the private garage, the apartment also comes with its own outside private car parking space, situated very close to the front door.
The apartment is only 2 to 3 minute's walk from the centre of town so catching a ski bus or going for a drink or a bite to eat in the evenings couldn't be simpler.
