Walking

There is a massive variety of walking in and around Les Carroz which ranges from family strolls to challenging hikes. Click here to see some of our favourite walking itineries as suggested by the Les Carroz Tourist Office.

Mountain biking

Les Carroz is really working hard to develop it's name as a great mountain biking area and the telecabine is open from 5th July - 31st August so you don't even have to trudge uphill if you'd reather just enjoy the downhill!
Here are some of the routes for the Les Carroz. Maps can be obtained from the Tourist Office and follow this link to keep up to date with cycling in and around Les Carroz.

Climbing

Here are a selection of climbing routes that are on the doorstep in Les Carroz but there are many, many more only slightly further afield.
There is also the opportunity to go with a guide if you've never experienced climbing before, or you just want to find the best routes.

Horse riding

Les Carroz also has plenty to offer for the horse lovers. There's Bertile and Raymond's Pony Club, a Riding School and stables, and even the chance to go hiking with donkeys!

Fishing

There's loads of opportunities for fishing around Les Carroz, and guides are available to take you out and show you the best sopts if you need them.

Tennis

Tennis Altitude offer tennis courses, or if you'd just like a game there are many courts available for the public.

Leisure centre

The leisure centre in Les Carroz has a gym, tennis and badminton courts and an indoor climbing wall. (Tel 04 50 90 24 80)

Swimming

You can either find a nearby lake for a dip, or there's a beautiful outdoor swimming pool in Les Carroz.

Canyoning, white water rafting, hot air ballooning and parascending are also available in Les Carroz.
