Chalet des Deux Roches is an outstanding 3 or 4 bedroom chalet situated only 1000 metres from St Gervais' Le Bettex ski area. With incredible views of Mont Blanc, a sun lounge and a wood burning Nordic hot tub, this chalet is perfect for keen skiers, summer walkers or those wanting to escape from it all.
The chalet also has a studio apartment below with its own 'bergers' double bed, kitchen, lounge (with TV for watching DVDs) and shower room that can also be rented to provide a fourth bedroom for larger groups. The chalet has a large open plan living area, with log fire, very well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge with satellite TV (French, German and Italian) and wifi internet access. The views throughout the chalet, out across the valley and up to the summit of Mont Blanc, are absolutely tremendous. The owner has also thoughtfully extended the chalet to include a sun lounge, a wonderful space to sit, read, sip wine and enjoy the view.
Another recent addition is the wood fueled Nordic hot tub. Just light a few logs in the burner on the side of the tub when you get back from a hard day on the mountain and within a couple of hours the water will be perfect. What better way to enjoy the red tops on the Mont Blanc massif as the sun drops below the mountains?
