What makes us different to other property management companies?
We have been purposely slow to grow. We don't take on many new properties each year despite the number that we are offered. We have been very careful to only take on properties that are of the right quality to ensure that regular guests' high expectations are met. We are very careful to ensure that we maintain the high level of service both for our guests and for our property owners and we feel that this can only be done through gradual growth.
We do everything ourselves, in house. We don't subcontract. We employ and train all of our cleaners, laundry staff and resort reps and then constantly check, and work with them, to ensure that high standards are maintained. This is how we ensure that the quality of our service remains consistently high throughout our growth.
We meet all guests upon arrival at your property, explaining how everything works, where everything is and how to get the best from the area. This has several benefits. Firstly the guest is pleased to know how everything works, where to find everything in the apartment and how to get the best from their holiday. Secondly, by meeting guests face to face we are not only reinforcing our outstanding service and building a relationship with them, but also ensuring that they have a trouble free and enjoyable holiday, which all go towards maintaining, and improving upon, our excellent re-booking rates. Thirdly, guests are much more inclined to look after your property if they have a friendly face meeting them when they arrive as they then associate that property with a person. It obviously helps that they know that this person will also be seeing them again when they leave.
All of your linen is washed and ironed by us.
We carry out all of the laundry ourselves. We check every single item before it is laundered for stains and treat the stains before they are washed. No worries about items being lost or bleached by a third party company.
We will work with you to ensure that you can maximise your property rentals both in terms of rental rates and numbers of weeks booked.
For winter 2009/2010 we achieved an average of 13 occupied weeks across our properties. This was from a 16 week season.
We genuinely care about our property owners, their properties and our guests. This may sound obvious or an easy thing to say, but we enjoy a good relationship with all of our property owners, and we have many guests who stay with us every year (30% of our reservations are returning customers). We've never been left by a property owner going to another company. We have only very rarely had to charge a guest for damage, and in two thirds of these occasions the guest has then re-booked with us.
We invest heavily, both in time and money, on marketing. We use many different channels for publicity, including Google Adwords and other property rental websites such as Home and Away Rentals and Holiday Lettings. We also rank highly on google.co.uk in the natural rankings (first page for "St Gervais", "St Gervais Les Bains", "accommodation st gervais", "self catering st gervais")
We know, and enjoy a good relationship with, local trades people so we can recommend plumbers, builders, electricians, tilers, appliance repairers etc. We can also get hold of these people quickly if an emergency arises.
